French Fountain

The French Fountain is a heritage bronze sculpture located in Carlton Gardens at the Nicholson Street entrance in Melbourne. Created around 1880, this historic artwork features three youths each supporting a dolphin, crowned by a cupped scallop shell. Originally the centrepiece of Melbourne's 1880 International Exhibition, it now stands as a significant piece of public art managed by the City of Melbourne.
