PMI Victorian History Library Inc.

The PMI Victorian History Library Inc. is a community-owned library in Prahran specialising in Victorian history research, housing over 70,000 items many unavailable elsewhere. Established in 1854 as the Prahran Mechanics' Institute, it offers lending and reference collections, educational lectures and seminars, and membership that supports a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to preserving and sharing Victoria's history.
