Open Place

Open Place is a support and advocacy service for Forgotten Australians—people who grew up in Victorian orphanages and institutional care before 1990. They provide counselling, health support, help with records searches and family reunions, assistance with National Redress Scheme claims, and community education. Drop-in sessions and peer support groups create space for care leavers to connect and heal.
